The Viaduct, once the longest and tallest railroad structure, is now a pedestrian walkway! Enjoy a walk along the Erie Basin Marina Trial Gardens before departing on an evening catamaran ride. Enjoy the amazing Garden Walk, one of the largest and most spectacular garden tours in America. More than 400 private gardens are opened for a public tour. Have the option of taking a trip to Niagara Falls for on-your-own time or enjoy a second day of the Garden Walk.

11:30 AM Arrive at Kinzua Bridge State Park - The 339-acre Kinzua Bridge State Park, located in McKean County, is the home of the reinvented Kinzua Viaduct. The Viaduct, once the longest and tallest railroad structure at 2,053 feet long and 301 feet high, was partially destroyed by a tornado during 2003. Reinvented as a pedestrian walkway during 2011, visitors can stroll 600 feet out on the remaining support towers, peer miles out into the Kinzua Gorge, and gaze down through the partial glass platform at the end of the walkway. The Kinzua Bridge State Park Visitor Center features great views, self-guiding exhibits, and information about the surrounding area.

Each year, more than 400 private gardens are opened for a public tour. For more than 21 years, Garden Walk Buffalo has been a destination for garden lovers throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario. Garden Walk has become one of western New York’s most anticipated summer happenings. All clustered within a 3-mile radius with headquarters at strategic points along the way and free shuttle bus transport for visitors through several different garden areas.

Be sure to grab a bite for lunch on own.
