Travel to Kentucky, rest and meal stops, on own en route. Upon arrival at the hotel in Covington Kentucky, you will be greeted by an angelic spirit, otherwise known as the "Ghost of Christmas Past". Enjoy a holiday welcome managers reception (two drink vouchers per guests and light appetizers before dinner). Dinner with Ebenezer Scrooge is included at the hotel. Enjoy a Buffet & "Christmas Dinner with the Cratchits" with Dickens’ A Christmas Carol 1951 version with Alistair Sim as Scrooge running in the background.
Enjoy a breakfast buffet at the hotel. Depart for the Museum Center, which was one of the last great train stations built. Guests will step back in time and experience the history of our city from the first settlers through World War II. Along the way, meet costumed interpreters to better understand and connect to history. See the amazing train displays. Take a break from the Hustle and Bustle and enjoy a relaxing two-hour luncheon cruise. There will be live entertainment playing your favorite Christmas tunes and some Gospel as well as a deli, luncheon comfort foods and fabulous sightseeing
on both sides of the river in Ohio & Kentucky. After the cruise depart for the Creation Museum. Upon arrival enjoy the Planetarium show. The Creation Museum is yours to explore at your own pace. See how its interpretation of the Bible -the “history book of the universe” - provides an account of the beginning of all things. ChristmasTown is included in our admission. Stroll through the botanical gardens amid the breathtaking display of thousands of multi-colored lights. As you walk through the Garden of Lights, you’ll also encounter one of the Magi, a wise man who journeyed to Bethlehem to see “the one who [was] born King of the Jews” and learn of his amazing journey. Dinner voucher is included to use at your leisure. Depart for the hotel 8PM.
Enjoy a breakfast buffet at the hotel. You will be greeted by the “Ghost of Christmas Present” during breakfast. Once breakfast has been completed - enjoy holiday music with live entertainment, from old classic Christmas songs from Kingston Trio and Burl Ives to more popular holiday music. This will definitely start your day. Depart for McCabes Green House. Enjoy a seasonal hands-on holiday make and take project. Guests will enjoy a seasonal hands-on workshop working with live greens to create their holiday remembrance items. Enjoy shopping in the gift shop, and enjoy the plentiful poinsettias and holiday decorations. Lunch included at Whiskey’s, which is a combination of two historic buildings dating to 1835 and 1850. After lunch travel to the Ark Encounter. Spend the afternoon touring the Ark Encounter. Scores of exhibits about the Flood, Noah, and the animals are designed to answer your questions about the biblical account of Noah’s Ark. Enjoy a Holiday Buffet for dinner at Emzara’s Kitchen, at leisure and available any time during your visit. As the night falls upon the Ark, guests will encounter the wonder of Christmas enjoying an unforgettable evening of festive lights, gift shopping including an extensive fairtrade market, a stroll through Ararat Ridge Zoo and more. Better have your camera ready! The view is remarkably photogenic as you take in Noah's ark, the lake,
and the gardens illuminated in a sea of rainbow-colored lights. Depart for the hotel 7:30 PM.
Enjoy a breakfast buffet at the hotel. Luggage pick up outside of room doors. Before departing full of holiday spirit, the “Ghost of Christmas Future”, will visit. You will receive a farewell gift of an iced Gingerbread Man Cookie in a Christmas stocking. Arrive at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Tour the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - Like the music we celebrate, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is alive with the energy, passion and spirit of music…Get READY TO ROCK in this 150,000 square-foot museum featuring seven floors, five theaters for films, and ever-changing exhibits. Guests will see the largest Elvis collection…. outside of Graceland. Experience the largest Beatles collection, anywhere, view many pieces of Michael Jackson’s stage wardrobe, including his sequined glove display. Guests can listen to hundreds of tunes from the 1920’s to the 2000’s …Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll. Lunch on your own.
