Day 1

You will depart and head north into "Canyon Country", making a fast food/rest stop en route ‘on your own’. Later this morning, you will arrive at the Corning Museum of Glass, the world's largest space dedicated to the display of contemporary art and design in glass, located in Corning, New York. Founded in 1951 by Corning Glass Works, it now has a collection of more than 50,000 glass objects, some over 3,500 years old! Here you will be greeted by a member of their team to answer questions before exploring the museum at your leisure. Lunch will be on your own in their café. Included in your experience at Corning Museum of Glass will be creating your own sandblasted glass that you will take home with you! After a fun filled day at the museum, you will depart this afternoon to check into your hotel for the evening, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Elmira Corning, and freshen up before going to dinner. Tonight’s included dinner will be buffet style at Carey’s Brew House, and include top round of beef, lemon pepper chicken, salad, rolls, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable, dessert, and soft drink.

Day 2

Wake up this morning and enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Upon checking out, depart for the Ole Covered Wagon. Sit back and relax as you take an awe inspiring two hour, horse-drawn covered wagon ride through the wonderous Pennsylvania Grand Canyon! Your tour guides are fluent in the history of the Canyon, going back to the 19th century. They will tell you tales while the horses wind their way along the Pine Creek Rail Trail. Upon returning from the canyon enjoy a Cowboy Lunch! Next you will visit Leonard Harrison State Park. Once here, take your time to stroll along the paved look out of the canyon. See if you can spot some a bald eagle or other wildlife native to the area! Before departing for home visit Highland Chocolates Factory. Their products are made fresh daily using only the finest ingredients. Let them be your source for irresistibly sweet snacks and premium chocolate gifts for all occasions. Highland Chocolates is operated by Partners in Progress which empowers people with disabilities to succeed. Take the short tour and meet some of the nicest chocolate makers you will ever know, enjoy some samples of the famous pretzel bark and then get some to take home! Relax on the ride back home, making a fast food/rest stop en route ‘on your own’.
