Wolf Sanctuary of PA, is a quiet haven that has for over 40 years offered refuge to gray wolves and wolf-dogs. Wolves have been plagued by myth and misinformation for centuries. At Wolf Sanctuary of PA, gray wolves and wolf-dogs are given back their dignity. They are devoted to assuring the highest quality of care and enrichment for their wolves. Currently the sanctuary is home to over 50 gray wolves and wolf-dogs. Through guided tours they seek to dispel some of the common myths about wolves and provide a more accurate and respectful image of this keystone species.
11:45 AM Depart for Mt Hope Estates and Winery. Here you will enjoy the Chef’s selection of a farm to table family style luncheon in the beautifully restored historic barn. Enjoy the narration from the fun-hearted actors as they guide you through the history of agriculture of Lancaster County. A Trio of tasting wines is included with your luncheon.
After lunch we will take a tour of the winery and enjoy a dedicated wine tasting. Take some time to shop for your favorites to take home.
