This morning, we’ll board the coach and begin our journey towards Newport, Kentucky. Today will be a travel day. Rest stops and a lunch stop will be made along the way "on your own". We will arrive and check-in at our hotel. Dinner will be included this evening onboard BB Riverboats. Discover an enchanting evening on the Ohio River as our dinner cruise combines city lights, delicious dining, and dancing to create the perfect night out. This cruise offers an unforgettable Cincinnati experience.

Breakfast is included at the hotel this morning before checking out and departing for Louisville, KY. We’ll begin the day at the Louisville Slugger Museum. Discover the story behind the bat that changed the game and celebrate its iconic role in baseball history. Take a guided factory tour, explore the bat vault, and hold bats used by legends like Willie Mays, Ken Griffey Jr., and Babe Ruth! Enjoy lunch at a local favorite restaurant before heading over to the Evan Williams Experience. Here you’ll be taken back in time to meet Kentucky's first licensed distiller, Evan Williams. Following the history portion of the tour, you will learn about the distillation process and how Heaven Hill's (the parent company of Evan Williams) modern Bernheim Distillery operation compares to how whiskey was made in the late 1800's. During this part of the tour, you will see their state-of-the-art operating distillery located on-site that utilizes the same type of pot stills used in the early Bourbon making days. The experience concludes with a tasting of 4 products from the Evan Williams award-winning portfolio! Tonight, check in to the Historic Seelbach Hotel and enjoy an evening at your leisure to explore the property’s history, or head over to Fourth Street Live!

Breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. Start the day in Lexington at Kentucky Horse Park, a working horse farm, international equestrian competition venue, and an educational theme park since 1978. This unique attraction showcases all breeds of horses through daily equine presentations, three outstanding museums, horse-drawn tours and carriage rides, an art gallery, horseback riding, pony rides, and special exhibitions. A private lunch buffet will be included at the park. Then we’ll head back to Louisville where we’ll visit the Frazier History Museum. Located on Museum Row in the Bourbon District of downtown Louisville, the Frazier documents and reinterprets stories from history using artifacts, gallery talks, and live daily interpretations by a talented staff of costumed actors known as teaching artists. The Frazier is also the official starting point of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® so we couldn’t leave without a bourbon experience! Dinner is included tonight at a local favorite.

Breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. We’ll begin the day with a guided bus tour of Louisville. With a booming bourbon renaissance, iconic attractions, world-class hotels & venues and a renowned culinary scene, Louisville is an experience like no other. Then it’s time to get ready for the races! We’ll visit the Kentucky Derby Museum which includes a historic walking tour of Churchill Downs racetrack, a short film, and multiple exhibits. Churchill Downs is a Thoroughbred racetrack most famous for hosting the Kentucky Derby annually. It officially opened in 1875, and held the first Kentucky Derby and the first Kentucky Oaks in the same year. We’ll get to learn how to make some bets, and create some fun hats before catching a race this evening. Dinner will also be included tonight on Millionaire’s row at the track!

Breakfast is included at the hotel this morning before checking out. We’ll begin our day at Old Friends Farm. This unique farm is a retirement home for former thoroughbred horses. Take a guided tour that gets you up-close-and-personal with some amazing Thoroughbred athletes. Meet such stars of the turf as Kentucky Derby and Preakness winners Silver Charm and I'll Have Another, and stakes winners like Game On Dude. An included lunch will be served here. Next, we’ll tour Rebecca Ruth's Candy Factory - home of the Bourbon Ball! Finally, we’ll round out the day with a ride on the Bourbon Belle. This is a great way to learn about the river and its impact on an entire industry! You’ll hear about 6 different distilleries near the river, see the operational Lock and Dam #4, Daniel Boone's grave from below, "Frank's Ford" from above, the Leestown Settlement, and much more. Top that off with a little local Bluegrass flare coming through the speakers, and you’ve got the perfect recipe! Dinner will be on your own this evening along main street before checking into our hotel for the evening.
