America 250 Series: Valley Forge

Learn about Pennsylvania's Revolutionary War History in Valley Forge! Begin the day with a 2 hour tour, sitting comfortably on the motorcoach as your step-on guide narrates the drive around Valley Forge National Historic Park. This is where George Washington’s Continental Army spent the pivotal winter of 1777-78. The park features 3,500 acres of monuments, meadows, and woodlands commemorating this time during the Revolutionary War. You will also make 2-3 stops throughout the tour where you will disembark the motorcoach to experience historic monuments such as the Muhlenberg Brigade Huts and Washington’s Headquarters. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at Firebirds Wood Fired Grille located in Collegeville. Finally, take a tour of Historic Trappe! Across three remarkable historic sites - the Dewees Tavern, the Muhlenberg House, and the Speaker's House - visitors step into the lives of the individuals who shaped a region and a nation. Together, these sites offer more than a visit to the past.
