Fabulous Fall Foliage

Begin your day at Leonard Harrison State Park where a local guide will show you around. Take your time to stroll along the paved look out of the canyon and see if you can spot any wildlife native to the area! From there you will depart for lunch at the historic Penn Wells Hotel where you will have a choice of either the Oven Roasted Turkey (roasted

turkey with gravy served atop a bed of traditional stuffing, mashed potatoes with sauteed green beans, and side of cranberry sauce) or Baked Ham (sliced pit ham with a maple mustard glaze, served with mashed potatoes and sauteed green beans) both served with a mixed green salad with house made balsamic dressing, roll, iced tea, hot tea or coffee, and Chef’s choice of dessert. After lunch enjoy free time to walk around the beautiful town of Wellsboro before it's time to depart for your covered wagon ride! Sit back and relax as you take an awe inspiring two hour, horse-drawn covered wagon ride through the wonderous Pennsylvania Grand Canyon! Your tour guides are fluent in the history of the Canyon, going back to the 19th century. They will tell you tales while the horses wind their way along the Pine Creek Rail Trail. After a full day of fabulous fall foliage you'll head home. A fast food/rest stop will be made en route on your own.
