Enjoy a day at Landis Valley & Chanticleer Gardens!
View Dates & BookIn this garden focused tour, we'll visit and tour Landis Valley Living History Museum with a Farm Tour focusing on the extensive Heirloom Herb Garden and a luncheon that highlights the fresh herbs grown on site. We end our day with a visit to Chanticleer Gardens for self guided exploration.

Itinerary
8:30 AM Depart Sam’s Club, Mechanicsburg
9:00 AM Depart Boscov’s, Harrisburg
10:00 AM Arrive at Landis Valley Museum - Here, in addition to touring the living history grounds and buildings such as the mercantile, hotel, smithy's & tin works, we will tour the heirloom gardens, learn the process of growing crops and preserving them through winter, followed by a delicious luncheon. End with time to shop and perhaps grab some heirloom seeds.
3:00 PM Depart for Chanticleer
3:30 PM Chanticleer gardens should be full of Iris, Lily, Rhododendrons and Japanese Primerose to name just a few of the beautiful springs blooms we’ll see. Here you will enjoy a self guided tour of the Gardens and Grounds
5:00 PM Depart for home
6:00 PM Approximate arrival back to Harrisburg
6:30 PM Approximate arrival back to Mechanicsburg
