7:00 AM Depart Sam’s Club, Mechanicsburg

7:30 AM Depart Weis Markets Linglestown Rd, Harrisburg

9:30 AM Arrive at Hagley Museum - Take a journey through the historic DuPont Company black powder yards and the grounds of the first du Pont family home in America. Guests will see demonstrations of our nineteenth-century machine shop, watch a water turbine bring our eight-ton iron roll mills to life, and witness a black powder explosion. On the second half of the tour, guests will visit the du Pont family home, the first office, their first garden and learn how the family lived, worked, and played at Hagley.

12:00 PM Arrive at Winterthur - Almost 60 years ago, collector and horticulturist Henry Francis DuPont (1880-1969) opened his childhood home, Winterthur, to the public. Today, Winterthur is the premier museum of American decorative arts, with an unparalleled collection of nearly 90,000 objects made or used in America between about 1640 and 1860. The collection is displayed in the magnificent 175-room house, much as it was when the du Pont family lived here, as well as in permanent and changing exhibition galleries. You will have time to grab lunch here on your own at their café.

3:30 PM Arrive at Longwood Gardens - No holiday is complete without a visit to Longwood Gardens, where more than 400,000 twinkling lights and spectacular fountain shows compose a brilliant wonderland you will surely love. As you stroll through the grounds, marvel at lights strung on nearly 40 miles of wire glowing in the trees. Large, starry snowflakes and icicles sparkle throughout the Gardens, while the continuously performing Theatre fountains present the colors of a Christmas rainbow.
