Day 1
7:00 AM Depart for Pigeon Forge
Rest and meal stops en route on own.
Welcome dinner is included this evening at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen before checking in at the Lodge at Five Oaks.
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, receive a fully guided Great Smoky Mountains Experience enroute to a mile-high location with epic views, The Newfound Gap! The group will acquire a knowledge of the area plants, animals, pioneers, Native Americans, and of course, hear all the fun-facts about the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited national park in America. Once at Newfound Gap, the passengers will be at a very important historic spot where a national park dedication took place in 1940, right at the North Carolina / Tennessee border, on the Appalachia trail. On the way down the mountain from the Newfound Gap, back to Pigeon Forge, there will be more spectacular photo opportunities, lots of history and local lore stories.
After your tour spend your afternoon strolling the sidewalks and shops of Historic Downtown Gatlinburg. Explore & unwind with some free time while indulging your taste buds by enjoying lunch on your own this afternoon at any one of the many delightful local restaurants.
Meet back up and enjoy a tour and tasting at Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery.
We will then enjoy an aerial tramway ride for our visit to Ober Mountain. Soar above Gatlinburg with breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains on Ober Mountain's "The Gatlinburg Tram"! This iconic cable car whisks you to the mountaintop Adventure Park & Ski Area, offering a unique and unforgettable experience for all ages. Buffet dinner is included this evening at Ober Mountain.
Day 3
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a fascinating self guided tour at the Titanic Museum. Opening the door to the past in it’s one-of-a-kind way letting passengers experience what it was like to walk the hallways, parlors, cabins and Grand Staircase of the Titanic while surrounded by more than 400 artifacts directly from the ship and its passengers. As visitors touch a real iceberg, walk the Grand Staircase and third class hallways, reach their hands into 28-degree water, and try to stand on the sloping decks, they learn what it was like on the RMS Titanic by experiencing it first-hand. Each guest entering the ship will receive a boarding pass of an actual Titanic passenger or crew member. Discover your passenger or crew member’s fate at the end of your tour in the Titanic Memorial Room where 2,208 names line this historic wall.
Enjoy free time, shopping and lunch on your own at The Island. The Island in Pigeon Forge, TN boasts 23 acres of entertainment in an inviting setting perfect for groups trying to escape the everyday. With over 80 shops, restaurants and attractions, our location combines all things fun, in a safe environment where you can eat, shop and play. The Island's diverse selection of activities makes it a one-stop-shop of fun for all ages. The Island Show Fountains are programmed to music and lights year round and you can purchase a ticket to ride "The Wheel" which is 200 feet tall. There truly is something for everyone to enjoy at The Island.
Tonight enjoy dinner and show "Soul of Motown" at the Grand Majestic Theatre.
Day 4
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Dollywood's Harvest Festival. Fall glows brightest at Dollywood during the Harvest Festival presented by Humana, where crisp autumn days burst with vivid color, and magical nights shimmer with illuminating surprises. By day, soak in the sounds of the season with dozens of Southern gospel, country, and bluegrass performers while the air fills with the scent of fall treats and the thrill of rides like Big Bear Mountain. At night, wander through the enchanting Hoot Owl Hollow, listen for the mystical melody of Dolly’s glowing giant guitar, and marvel at the towering 40-foot pumpkin tree exclusively during Great Pumpkin LumiNights. More than 20 rides and attractions with elaborate decorations, fall-themed menus. Once in the park there are many spectacular performances you won’t want to miss. B, DDay 5
After breakfast at the hotel, head out on our Good Golly Miss Dolly Tour. Step into the remarkable story of one of country music's most beloved icons on a guided bus tour through the hometown of Dolly Parton. Travel the scenic roads of Sevier County as your local guide shares fascinating stories about Dolly's humble beginnings, her family, and the experiences that shaped her extraordinary career. Aong the way, you'll visit many of the places connected to Dolly's childhood, including locations that inspired her music and lifelong love for the Smoky Mountains. Whether you're a lifelong fan or simply enjoy learning about American music history, this heartwarming tour offers a unique glimpse into the life of the woman who proved that dreams really can come true.
Lunch is included today at Bush’s Visitor Center. The Bush’s® Visitor Center nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Chestnut Hill, Tennessee, is where you can learn all about our history, beans and how we’ve spent the last 110 years spreading that good bean word.
Head back to the hotel to relax and freshen up for dinner at Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant and Grill, surrounded by orchards in a serene setting in the heart of Sevierville, Tennessee.
After dinner sit back relax and enjoy the Country Tonite Show. Celebrating their 29th year in Pigeon Forge, Country Tonite is home to an incredible Pigeon Forge show complete with mesmerizing production numbers, impressive choreography, lighting effects, side-splitting comedy, and beautiful costumes.
Day 6
After breakfast, depart for home with fond memories of The Great Smoky Mountains!
