Begin your journey to Virginia! We'll make stops en route for restrooms/fast food. This afternoon visit the Birthplace of Country Music - a Smithsonian Affiliate honoring the history and impact of the 1927 Bristol Sessions, a 2 week period of music recordings that was the start of country music as we know it! This evening we'll check-in to the Historic General Morgan Inn located in Greeneville, TN. Dinner will be on your own this evening at the hotel's restaurant.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel this morning before checking out and departing for Gatlinburg. Have free time for lunch and shopping upon arrival. This afternoon visit Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery for a tour and sampling before learning all about the queen of country music, Dolly Parton! Take the "Good Golly Miss Dolly" bus tour around the area and learn all about the life and music of Dolly Parton before heading to Dolly Parton's Stampede Dinner Show. Featuring a friendly competition, thrilling horse riding stunts, spectacular special effects, phenomenal music productions, plus a mouthwatering four-course feast that ends with a delicious dessert! Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning before spending the day out in Pigeon Forge! Begin the day at the Bush's Visitor Center. Learn about the history of the famous bean company who've been cooking up those beautiful beans for the last 110 years! Lunch will be included here today. This afternoon have time on your own at The Island, a family-friendly entertainment venue with over 80 shops, restaurants, rides, and attractions, including the 200-foot Great Smoky Mountain Wheel! Grab dinner on your own here before heading to the Comedy Barn Theatre for a night of fun filled entertainment!

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning before checking out and departing for Nashville. Along the way we'll make a stop in Oak Ridge, established during WWII by the Army Corps of Engineers, the so-called "Secret City" was at the center of the Manhattan Project. Take a one-of-a-kind tour that visits the primary sites of the Manhattan Project in Oak Ridge, TN. Then we'll continue on to Granville, a quaint "Hallmark" town where we'll enjoy a tour of town and an included dinner with entertainment. Check into our Nashville hotel for the next 2 nights.
